I want to start off first by saying, I apologize for not keeping up with this site. I have gotten too wrapped up in every day life. But I do want to let some people know that the jailbreak for iOS 6 is out and it is untethered, thanks to the jailbreak team know as the Evad3rs. The jailbreak tool is called Evasi0n and you can find it to download on my downloads page. It has full support for iOS 6.0 - iOS 6.1.2, and does support the very new and badass iPhone 5. A new version of RedSn0w has been released. It is called RedSn0w 0.9.15b1. This version of RedSn0w allows A4 and earlier devices with iOS 6 to be jailbroken and Cydia be installed straight from the jailbreak proram. It is still a tethered boot so you will have to go back and just boot but you can now have iOS 6 with Cydia. But please remember that if you power down your device or if it shuts off then you have to always do a just boot through RedSn0w. Dream Team has just announced that the iOS 6 Jailbreak is almost here. It is the Redsn0w version and the only thing that is stopping it is the compatibility with Cydia. As soon as the compatibility issues are worked out then they will launch the New Redsn0w jailbreak for iOS 6. I can't wait.
Beware the sites out there that claim to be able to jailbreak and or unlock your new iPone 5 or iOS 6 device. The are likely to be a scam. If anyone has any new news on this topic please post. I would love to hear about it. JB

Earlier today, the developers behind the awesome and best jailbreak tool Absinthe Jailbreak, Dream Team tweeted about something that may be a good hint as to when the iOS 6 UnTeathered jailbreak will arrive. This should be really soon. The Dream Team is struggling really hard to bring us an UnTeathered iOS 6 jailbreak. Pod2g tweeted:

@Pod2g - if what @p0sixninja pointed out is true, Apple failed again... Oh god.

This may mean that they found a way in to do an UnTeathered jailbreak on iOS6. I can't wait!
I will keep you posted on what happens next.
Hopefully something gets released shortly after the WWJC aka World Wide Jailbreak Conference.
